March 15, 2023Latin Alternative Theater Award honors Barbara Herr with a LATA AWARD 2023 for Outstanding Person of the Year and a LATA Award as an Actress in Best Ensemble for “Hamlet in Harlem” Written and directed by Alberto Ferreras -Theater for the New City.

LATA Award for outstanding person of the year (2022) LATA Best Ensemble Cast for Hamlet In Harlem (2022). “Without her realizing it, Barbra was an inspiration for a generation of artists,” says Luis Caballero, her friend and director, who first encountered Herr’s stage persona when he was a teen in Puerto Rico.
