Latin Alternative Theater Award honors Barbara Herr  with a LATA AWARD 2023 for Outstanding Person of the Year and a LATA Award as an  Actress in Best Ensemble for “Hamlet in Harlem” Written and directed by Alberto Ferreras -Theater for the New City.

Barbara Herr is an actress/writer/LGBTQ human, animal and civil rights activist with more than 40 years of performance and activism to her credit. TV: HABLA: Men (HBO; 2015), Transmission Streaming (2020).
